We can hope it is the end of Dong, we may have to wait until the end of the season for that though.

The fact Wilf is suggesting that we are expecting to bring someone in by Wednesday means they probably have someone lined up.

I think there is very little chance of Wilder. I reckon even with the slightest hope there would be some legal bits involved that would block any instant move.

I'd hate pulis, but he can't be any worse.
Nigel Adkins would make sense to me for a few reasons.

I can’t see Wilder being realistic, but I’d be over the moon if they somehow managed to pull that off.

Realistically from the “in by Wednesday” thing, I’m expecting Pulis.

I do worry that it will end up being Gardner.

I genuinely don't know who I want.

I'd love Wilder but as you say it's unlikely. Not too sure about Bowyer or Jackett. Monk has probably burned his bridges and I wouldn't have him back after what he did.

I would have had Cook and if they sacked Karanka when they should have we could have had him.

Id be very surprised if it was Gardner. For Wednesday, maybe, but not beyond. Firstly, I don’t believe he wants it and second they would have seen what happened with him and Spooner last time.

Learning pretty fast that it doesnt matter what level of experience or proven track record the next manager has. They either "get" the club or they dont. We could get Pep Guardiola tomorrow and get relegated or we could get kenny Jackett and go unbeaten for 10 games. Like Monk and Rowett the next manager has to be a good fit and understand the fans, the city and the ethos of the club, we ain't after block buster football. Just effort, desire and "pashun".

I’d like to see a bit of a mix to be honest, but right now, just get something that is going to save our bacon if possible.

Love Wilder but can't see it happening wouldn't mind Lampard or Howe but I think it will be Pullis cheap and cheerful till the end of the season 🤔
