Sad day for the blues family...

Used to enjoy his rants and broad memory of anything blues

I'm genuinely gutted about this. I didn't know him personally or talk to him a lot but I read a lot of his posts over the years and although some people used to get wound up by his stubbornness but I liked him, I thought he came across as a nice guy. He would always reply to you and would take things in good humour. He seemed like someone who you would enjoy a drink with.

RIP Des. You will be missed.

My condolences to his family and those who knew him.

Glad you’ve posted this. Proper Blue was DES, even though we didn’t agree on everything. Met him and exchanged PM’s. Really nice bloke. RIP DES x
