Much better 1st hour. We looked like a team much more comfortable moving the ball about, particularly in tight space at times.

Ethridge looked good, Colin best game for ages, two centre halves played well and Pedersen put in his best considering he could be gone tomorrow.

Woods really good but a red waiting to happen, Gardner very good first half. Onel & Bacuna very good technically and they lifted the overall team performance from recent months.

Hogan, great to see his 4th in 5 but obviously disappointed he didn’t take one of the other two good chances.
He’s got 10 in 27 and on a goal every 180 mins when on the pitch.
That’s an impressive stat given our creativity.
I would say though, 2 up and 30 mins to go away, not a good option to hold the ball up when we’re under pressure, he’s actually really poor in that role.
Lyle, great finish and a much better option than some others recently so hopefully he’ll be a good loan.

It’s taken a couple of hours to get over giving away a 2 goal lead from the 87th minute, but Derby have a strong home record…….. much more importantly, a greatly improved Blues performance.

I’ll take the latter.

KRO.
