Difficult to disagree with your summary, I guess after many years of feeling the excitement of pre season signings and in the main being disappointed, I’m possibly being a little too 1/2 empty.

Players like Crowley we’re going to be the deal on a budget, we have been down that road too man.

Woods could be a great signing, although there’s plenty of Stoke and Millwall fans not too upset. The Gillingham lad had a good League One season last year and he’s 26/27? The Charlton kid got 1 in 21 in the Championship 2 seasons back.

We do have Bowyer though, he certainly got a lot more out of the present squad for a couple of months last season.

We have had quite a few updates on changes recently, but, the statement also suggested other changes to come.

I wonder if this will be something to do with further back office staff and the womens team setup?

Not sure what else the Men's setup will change now.

Not convinced by this. If Bela goes I guess we need someone though. Especially with pace.

I have always liked him but understand the negative responses. As for me, I think he would be good as a squad player

As I said on the podcast today, I’ve always quite liked Ameobi, but he’s never been particularly prolific, he’s a bit hit and miss, and I’m not sure he actually fits what we need right now.

It's a no from me. I'd prefer Shola Ameobi and he must be nearly 40 now.
