This is all very sensible business by Blues. It's a strict budget and we aren't being daft with our money. We've added some nice technical ability, creativity and goals to a team that is lacking in all those areas. They might not be names that immediately jump off the page, but they are smart signings that improve the squad and that's all we can ask for as we look to consolidate ourselves in this league and build for the future.

We’re operating at the bottom end of tier 2 in terms of squad development.
I won’t get the old man out and have a few minutes until we’ve seen the B&M boys play.
Really, Woods, Graham and 27 year old Charlton kid (sorry I can’t remember his name)
We’ve dropped a touch ain’t we…
Good solid lower half next season.. my pulse is going through the roof…

I don't think many people are getting their old men out for these signings. They might not get pulses racing, but we've tried that before and for burnt. We're in this position partially because of signings like that. We are addressing needs in the only manner we can, but we are improving the squad.Evanio wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 8:21 pm We’re operating at the bottom end of tier 2 in terms of squad development.

Solid lower half/mid table is exactly where we should be aiming for too. If people are expecting any more than that they need their heads testing, because we are recovery and rebuild mode. I am, and have been very critical of the club, as most on here will know,
but for once they appear to be doing things the right way and they should be commended for that.
