Right here goes pash but it is only the second half and it is only my opinion, also I am a happy clapper. Goalie Sarkic had nothing to do really but what he did do looked very competent and quick of his line was on the full 90 minutes. Juan looked quick and can play but looked to me as if he felt he was a cut above everyone and don't forget it was only 30 minutes. Graham looked good, does not lose the ball, loves a dribble and had a good shot on target, also worked hard and played with intelligence. Aneke looked a bit cumbersome but having said that he made several good runs in behind, set up Leko's goal with some clever play and looked generally big and strong, with good touch, also intelligent. They looked quicker and stronger than Cheltenham. Another observation was Dean made a terrible back pass that Sarkic got him out of jail thanks to his reading of the game and his speed. A real strange one Tait the young midfielder played next to Roberts in the centre of defence and was very quick and looked but a bit raw. Villelba came on for 20 minutes and looked tidy. Ops I have missed out Woods, only saw 15 minutes but WOW totally controlled midfield never put a pass wrong and put in a tackle. Bella was Bella but he crossed the corner for Gards goal and a good header. He set up Hoggy for a simple nod in. A young lad 23 whose name escapes me, he was out on loan and is a forward, nod in his first goal for us around Xmas but he played on the right-wing and looked really good. Leko looked sharper and better. Surprise absentees in order were, Sunjic, Cosgrove, Seddon, Munce and Clayton. Don't shoot the messenger he was doing his best. Overall though they looked good and all the new one's will add quite a lot to the squad IMHO. Kro

Thanks Bert. Someone did say they didn't pass the ball to Woods enough for their liking because when looked good when he had it. Seemed to hoof it more than use him. Made a fantastic pass that lead to one of the goals apparently.berti auld wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 6:38 pm Right here goes pash but it is only the second half and it is only my opinion, also I am a happy clapper. Is Bailey the youngster. He's a winger normally. Scored the winner against Boro at home. Scored a screamer whilst on loan I think.

I think they would probably like a striker, but I'd say it was dependent on how many they can shift out first.

I think once we announce Sanderson and either keeper we will be all set bar maybe 1
I dont like the idea of signing players for the sake of it as it often means limiting someones chances, even looking at the 2 different teams fielded Saturday shows our depth.
I am looking forward to seeing Hogan, Chuks, Leko all hopefully playing a part as there is a lot more to come from all 3 IMO (not forgetting Juke, only didnt add him as we already know what he is capable of) But signing another forward means limiting one of their chances.
We have Sanchez, Bela, Graham, Chong, Bailey, Mcgree for the wings so wouldnt make sense signing another 1.
If we play wing backs and LB sticks with 2 up top then the no.10 role looks a bit light. Mcgree, Sanchez, Lakin maybe Chuks? I think we could easily make do with what we have but if possible Id maybe look to bring a young No.10 low risk
CM we seem well covered We have Woods, Gards, Sunjic which i would say 2 of the 3 will be starting most matches. We also then have Stirk and Lakin (both looked good Sat) also Boyd munce to come in bringing in another one would limit the younger lads playing time
Defence (with Sanderson) looks decent. Colin Dean Roberts/Sanderson Peds if flat back 4 then we have Castillo Colin wing backs and all 3 CB playing or even Peds moving as part of the 3 like he did last season. I think i read Sanderson can also cover RB so we have a replacement if any of the links go in the back 4 and then with back up of Friend, Seddon, Gordon,
Not included Campbell or Oakley as i dont know much about either TBH

Was there anything in the Borini rumour Screamo or just agent talk?Screamoblue wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 10:31 am I think they would probably like a striker, but I'd say it was dependent on how many they can shift out first.
