There is talk of Peacock-Farrel (PF from now on) from Burnley.

They are crossing the t's and dotting the i's on a new keeper now but I don't know who. My guess is 4/6 PF and 5/4 Bettinelli.

Let's hope it's neither of those. We may as well run with Trueman or Jeacock.

I would prefer Jeacock, even if he drops a couple of clangers. Truman is just not good enough and never will be Imho

Jeacock would be my preference too, but I think he’s going out on loan very soon. I honestly don’t think Bettinelli or PeacockF are very good and neither are that much better than Trueman. I understand they are looking at all available options and want to do it at the least cost possible, but I hope they don’t make a bad decision in such a key position.

Totally agree with screamo, I think I would go for Sarkic looked reasonable, Any idea how long Ethers is going to be? Surely not beyond September unless he gets long covid, god forbid.

I think the problem with COVID is that nobody really knows the lasting impact it has on anyone, let alone someone at an elite sporting level who has been hospitalised. The club are most probably planning for 6 months without Etheridge, even if that isn’t going to be the case. It’s the safest and smartest thing to do right now.

Yes, you are right screamo, do we know who has had injections and who has not?

The only thing I can recall about Peacock-Farrell is he let two savable shots from Che Adams in when he played against us for Leeds (the first one was especially bad - see below). No thanks!

I agree with the first goal but not the second pash! To be fair to him he was only 19 and it was 5 years ago. The worrying thing for me is that Burnley are letting him go but are bring in Hennesey in to replace him. So it is a no from me.
